Here’s a few developments on Tamiami Trail’s dining scene:

The Yummy House China Bistro is relocating from 3232 N. Tamiami Trail to 1737 S. Tamiami Trail later in April. The new Yummy House location will seat 100 diners and includes a full bar. Yummy House’s phone number will still be (941) 351-1688, and their homepage will still be YummyHouseFlorida.com.

Tyler Yurckonis and Mark Caragiulo, who recently acquired Growler’s Pub, located at 2831 N. Tamiami Trail, announced they would be closing the pub for the week of April 1st for remodeling. However, the pub has been doing minor changes while staying open, so in actuality it will not be closing for remodeling yet. Yurckonis and Caragiulo plan to rename the pub to “The Mable” after Mable Ringling, wife of John Ringling and co-founder of the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.
