Sarasota County Population Increases By 10% in Last 7 Years
According to the US Census Bureau, Florida’s population has increased by 11.6% in the last seven years, from 18.8 million in 2010 to a nearly record-breaking 20.98 million in 2017. One contributor to that population increase was Sarasota County, which experienced a population increase of 10.34% over the same period of time, going from 379,944 in 2010 to 419,119 in 2017. Combine this with the fact that the Northport/Sarasota/Bradenton area ranked #6 in the Milken Institute’s Best Performing Cities of 2017, and it’s easy to see that Sarasota is experiencing a boom in both population and commerce. There’s never been a better time to invest in Sarasota!
