Wawa, Inc. has submitted building plans to construct a Wawa gas station and convenience store on Fruitville Road, between Lime Avenue and 3rd Street. The Sarasota Development Review Committee has asked representatives from Wawa to make some adjustments to their plans, which will be submitted again at a later date. There is not currently a date for when the store’s construction will begin or be completed.
