This week, the Ringling College of Art & Design held its 23rd annual createSRQ High School Juried Arts Show exhibit, in which over 200 pieces of artwork created by Sarasota County high school students were displayed. All art was available for silent auction, and judges selected pieces for Top 25 and Top 5 categories which will be available in a live auction at the Education Foundation’s annual gala on February 23rd at the Art Ovation Hotel. The exhibit gave aspiring young Sarasota County artists a great opportunity to show off their skills and make new connections within Sarasota’s robust arts community.
