Here’s the most recent Downtown Real Estate Development in Progress report, courtesy of the Sarasota Economic Development Division. Some updates include a permit to begin construction on Miss Susie’s Newtown Kitchen at 1241 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way, over half a million dollars of interior renovations to the Municipal Auditorium Building at 801 North Tamiami Trail, and a proposal to begin site work at 333 North Tamiami Trail, formerly the location of the Sarasota Quay.
